Overview

As a Release Engineer at HeadSpin, you will work with product development and operations teams to build tools and systems for continuous integration, testing, and release, ensuring smooth deployments.

In Short

Maintain and improve deployment pipelines.
Ensure smooth and efficient software deployments to cloud and on-premise environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to track dependencies and apply upgrades.
Create and maintain documentation for the release process.
Coordinate with stakeholders including developers and testers.
Set up and configure CI/CD pipelines for automation.
Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Manage multiple projects effectively.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience developing for Linux/Unix/Windows OS.
3+ years in software/build/release engineering for scalable applications.
Experience with Git, Python, and Bash scripting.
Experience with databases like MySQL and Postgres.
Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
Ability to perform other related duties as assigned.
