Headspace is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its Engagement Product Pillar and be responsible for improving and innovating our products and services to help our members feel better. Being on the engineering team, you’ll be working on a product that impacts millions of users worldwide. You will help us bring new features to life to meet our mission, while also helping push our platform to newer technologies as we embrace the cutting edge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in technical management
• Proven experience coaching and developing engineers, fostering technical growth and career progression
• Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, scalable architecture, and modern development practices
• Track record of leading high-performing teams, driving collaboration, accountability, and execution
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy, ensuring scalable, high-impact solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts clearly across different audiences
• Experience leading teams through complex, multi-month projects, setting clear goals and milestones
