Headlight is looking to add a 1099 Supervising Psychiatrist to support our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, delivering mental health services in a way that’s easier and more human for everyone involved.

In Short

• Support Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
• Conduct regular teleconferences for clinical development.
• Oversee care provided by Nurse Practitioners.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to clinicians.
• Maintain remote access to Electronic Medical Records.
• Conduct chart reviews and respond to clinical questions.
• Participate in weekly lectures on mental health topics.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Utilize electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Emphasize work-life balance and clinician well-being.

Requirements

• California Medical License focused on Behavioral Health.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
• Preferred 2 years of Mental Health Practice Experience.
• Clinical and administrative supervisory experience.
• Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new technologies.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
