Overview

The Psychiatrist at InStride is responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric treatment to our patients, focusing on children and teens struggling with mental health issues.

In Short

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment plan, and ongoing medication management services to children and teens.
• Collaborate with InStride care team and outpatient pediatrician.
• Participate in clinical team meetings centered around patient care.
• Schedule patients and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide feedback on workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Pennsylvania MD licensure and openness to acquiring additional licenses.
• Commitment to compassionate treatment.
• Expertise in medication management of children and teens.
• Ability to complete documentation efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and openness to new technologies.
• Cultural competence regarding diversity and inclusion.
