Overview

We are looking for a Java Engineer, experienced in Java and Spring Boot to join our Applications team. The team focuses on providing tooling to enrich the core Hazelcast Platform, making it easier to use, scale and provide greater functionality. Ensuring solutions to meet the most demanding customer needs.

In Short

Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot applications.
Implement new solutions using Java frameworks and libraries.
Optimize the platform for speed, efficiency, and resource utilization.
Implement security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
Integrate storage components with other software infrastructure.
Monitor the system for performance issues and implement maintenance procedures.
Troubleshoot issues related to data storage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective integration.
Document design decisions and operational procedures.
Stay updated with the latest developments in storage technologies.

Requirements

Experience of Java and Spring Boot development.
Familiarity with popular Java frameworks and tools.
Designing APIs with backwards compatibility.
Java JDK 17+ experience.
Knowledge of containerized applications and in-memory data stores is desirable.
Understanding of networking, distributed systems, and data structures.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
