Overview

The Utility Billing Specialist at Havenpark Communities is responsible for overseeing all utility and meter reading functions while providing customer service support to Community Managers.

In Short

• Identify and troubleshoot problematic meters and metering equipment.
• Ensure each home has a working meter.
• Review and approve monthly utility billing.
• Detect leaks and assist teams in corrections.
• Manage utility expenses and negotiate contracts.
• Audit utility invoices for rate accuracy.
• Assist in creating annual utility income and expense budgets.
• Serve as account admin for Waterscope.
• Research and resolve billing questions on meter readings.
• Act as in-house expert for meter reading systems and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration or related fields.
• 1+ years of experience in multi-family home utility billing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technologically proficient with MS Office software.
