Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

Brevity is looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who loves shipping production code and owning product features end-to-end, working with a Python/Django + React stack.

In Short

• Design, implement, test, and deploy product features across the stack.
• Utilize AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Redis, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB.
• Work with Python/Django, React, Tailwind / Material-UI.
• Contribute to system-level architecture and technical design reviews.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews and automated testing.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams for requirement breakdown.
• Provide mentorship to junior/mid-level engineers.
• Participate in a low-intensity on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Recent experience as a Senior Software Engineer in a fast-paced startup.
• Familiarity with Python/Django, React, AWS, Kubernetes, and more.
• Experience shipping PRs for Back-End and Front-End microservices.
• 3+ years building and scaling enterprise SaaS applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
