Director of Billing Platform Services - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Director of Billing Platform Services to lead the on-going development and scaling of our global Billing platform as part of our Cloud Platform Services organization.

In Short

• Drive the architecture and evolution of our global billing platform.
• Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for billing and payments platform services.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing engineers.
• Partner with EPD teams to develop flexible, automated billing models.
• Oversee integrations with third-party payment processors and ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with global financial regulations and data security standards.
• Establish SLAs and incident response processes for system reliability.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on billing requirements.
• Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining system performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of People Management experience leading Engineering teams.
• 6+ years of experience in online Billing and/or Payments platforms.
• 6+ years of experience with modern cloud-based architectures.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in working with third-party billing systems.
• Experience ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2.
• Strong understanding of good delivery practices and continual improvement.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
