Overview

The Sales Engineer lives and works in the intersection between sales and engineering. The ideal candidate must be able to articulate technology and product positioning at the executive, business and technical levels. Sales Engineers are the primary technical support for the sales force and are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.

Requirements

  • Responsible for delivering a great product demonstration
  • Represent the product to customers and at field events
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments on our technologies
  • Prior background as a developer or worked with developers in a DevOps role
  • Strong cloud knowledge, experience with infrastructure automation such as Terraform
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Convey customer requirements to Engineering teams
  • Ability to travel throughout a sales territory
