Senior Director, Actuary - Remote

In Short

• Serve as a critical analytics partner to the business.
• Develop and maintain advanced forecasting models for risk adjustment.
• Collaborate with finance, clinical, and operational teams.
• Deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Design and implement actuarial models for IBNR liabilities.
• Analyze medical claims data to identify cost drivers.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for KPIs.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting packages.
• Drive process improvements and automation within workflows.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in actuarial analysis or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
• Ability to lead with influence and collaborate across functions.
• Understanding of Medicare Advantage risk adjustment methodologies.
• Comfort with ambiguity and change in a startup environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and actuarial software.
• Actuarial credentials are a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is preferred.
