• GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Consultant – Cloud Kubernetes & Automation.
• Help clients design, secure, and operationalize cloud-native platforms.
• Work with Kubernetes, cloud engineering, automation, and security consulting.
• Design and implement production-grade Kubernetes architectures.
• Lead technical assessments of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Deliver Secure Landing Zones and Kubernetes security baselines.
• Design CI/CD and GitOps workflows integrating security controls.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for clients on Kubernetes strategy.
• Mentor junior consultants on Kubernetes and automation tooling.
• Support sales enablement with technical input during proposal development.

Requirements

• 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or cloud security roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong development skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes security concepts.
• Strong consulting acumen and communication skills.
• Certifications in Kubernetes and Cloud preferred.
• Experience with secure Kubernetes landing zones.
• Familiarity with service meshes and advanced observability stacks.
