In Short

  • Proactively network, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts within organizations.
  • Manage and develop relationships with customers.
  • Deliver a consultative sales approach.
  • Meet sales and profitability goals consistently.
  • Participate in industry organizations.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels accurately.
  • Work with security vendors to understand and position their technologies.
  • Participate in field marketing to generate interest.
  • Present sales presentations to large groups and executive clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years outside SLED sales experience in IT.
  • Current enterprise security space experience preferred.
  • Strong relationships with key SLED accounts required.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com required.
  • Strong group presentation skills.
  • History of exceeding sales goals.
  • Lead generation and opening new accounts experience.
  • Experience selling professional services a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Network security vendor certifications preferred.
