In Short

• Lead the monthly closing and financial reporting process.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP principles.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Monitor internal controls and escalate compliance issues.
• Act as a mentor and leader in the Finance Department.
• Prepare and post journal entries for business activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support external auditors and stakeholders.
• Develop financial policies for changing business requirements.
• Collaborate with business leaders on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• CPA certification or progress towards it is desired.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
