Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

We're seeking an Accounting Manager to serve as a critical financial steward during a pivotal growth phase at Grüns. You'll drive the transition from outsourced accounting to in-house operations, implement robust financial systems, and ensure audit-ready processes.

In Short

• Lead month-end close process for accurate financial reporting.
• Spearhead transition from QuickBooks to Fulfil as ERP system.
• Manage accounts payable transition to Ramp.
• Optimize accounts receivable processes for retail customers.
• Support year-end audit preparation with external auditors.
• Establish financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years in startup or rapidly growing companies.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• CPG industry experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or in progress.
• Ability to work independently and critically.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
