QA Automation & Infrastructure Engineer I - Remote

Overview

This role combines deep test automation expertise with infrastructure engineering to support scalable, self-service QA across the entire delivery lifecycle, including pre-delivery, UAT, and post-deployment validation.

In Short

• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test infrastructure components.
• Design and implement automated test suites (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
• Develop self-service tools/interfaces for delivery teams to run and monitor tests.
• Optimize environment provisioning and test data injection.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Collaborate with QA leads to evolve test platforms.
• Contribute to testing-as-a-service initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years in software development or QA automation.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience in designing scalable automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Skilled in CI/CD tools and cloud-based deployments.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable automation code.
• Advanced English and Spanish.
