Overview

GrowthLoop is seeking a Controller to take ownership of the company’s accounting function and partner closely with the VP of Finance. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to build rigor into our accounting operations and scale processes to support a high-growth SaaS business.

In Short

• Oversee all accounting tasks including general ledger management.
• Manage monthly reconciliation of key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and timely financial statements.
• Partner with external accounting firms for audits and tax filings.
• Drive improvements to financial controls and processes.
• Implement best practices for SaaS accounting.
• Support M&A activities and integration.
• Prepare reporting packages for stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to communicate financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience at a management level.
• Hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Proficiency in SaaS-specific accounting complexities.
• Experience with external auditors and tax preparation.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar software.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
