FRCPS Family Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The FRCPS Family Support Specialist plays a critical role in delivering strength-based, family-centered support to children and families referred by the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS).

• Deliver family-centered support to children and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Prior experience in family preservation or child welfare preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and behavioral health.
• Effective communication and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

• Licensure as required by state law (if applicable).
