HRIS Analyst (Workday Expert) - Remote

In Short

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday functionality, configuration, and daily support.
• Configure and maintain core Workday modules (HCM, Core HR).
• Partner with business leaders to identify pain points and propose scalable Workday solutions.
• Own Workday reporting, security, EIB (mass data uploads), testing, and troubleshooting.
• Lead efforts in Workday feature releases — regression testing, UAT, analysis, and deployment.
• Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and Workday roadmap adoption.
• Document business requirements and translate them into functional specs and solutions.
• Support cyclical HR processes (Annual Pay Review, Open Enrollment, Performance Reviews).
• Deliver great service — answering queries, solving problems, and keeping things moving smoothly.

Requirements

• Work experience configuring Workday across 3+ modules.
• Feeling confident managing Workday security roles, permissions, and business processes.
• HRIS project management experience, including stakeholder engagement and documentation.
• Proven Workday functional expertise — you know what it can (and can’t) do.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience handling sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to explain technical topics to non-tech folks.
• A team player who adapts quickly and brings resilience to a scaling operations environment.
• Bonus points for experience with Greenhouse ATS and Saba LMS.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, SOX, and PII preferred.
