• Deep dive into tools and technologies, including Google Cloud, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus, and more.
• Design scalable systems, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust monitoring solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including SRE, database engineers, and tech leads, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Evaluate existing technologies and suggest enhancements to drive better outcomes.
• Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of Groupon's tech platform.

Requirements

• Experience managing teams of 5+ engineers in global, fast-paced environments.
• Strong foundation in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and modern tech stacks (Java, Node.js, React, Docker).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges independently.
• High attention to detail and a bias for action, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Skilled in engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
