Overview

The Assistant Community Manager supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community.

In Short

  • Completes daily transactions related to the financial operation of the community.
  • Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite).
  • Communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances.
  • Handles vendor invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Follows procedures related to evictions.
  • Promotes resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Acts as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager.
  • Assists in managing client/owner relationships.
  • Physical demands include lifting and working in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible work schedule required.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management or related field.
  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to operate property management software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of eviction procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties.
