Developer I (Tax Team) - Remote

Overview

The Tax Developer I is a Full Stack Developer with approximately one year of professional development experience.

In Short

• Troubleshooting and fixing web automated scripts.
• Working on a maintenance queue of work.
• Working on new enhancements through sprints.
• Learn the product and code base of the Tax Team.
• Perform SQL queries as needed for debugging, research, and custom reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A recent AS or BS degree in an IT related field, or 1 year of professional experience.
• Ability to pass basic level C# and SQL coding exercise.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers.
• Attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of software development processes and project management is a plus.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax is a plus.
• Languages Required: C#, SQL, Javascript.
