Overview

Great Plains Communications is looking for a high-energy sales professional to join our growing sales team covering rural Nebraska area.

In Short

  • Prospecting, presenting, and closing the sale of network services with mid to large enterprises.
  • Negotiating contracts with customers and partners.
  • Working with Project Management and Billing teams for effective post-sale implementation.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Developing a sales forecast and expense budget.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Providing regular reports and information.
  • Strong public relations and time management skills required.
  • Ability to think strategically and work with diverse groups.
  • 5 or more years of sales experience in telecommunications desired.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Working understanding of telephony, Internet, and managed services.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Travel approximately 40% of each month.
