Web Designer - Remote

Overview

As a Web Designer at Granicus, you’ll take the lead in working with clients to conduct UX research, solve existing challenges, and finalize beautiful, user-centered visual designs for websites built using our CMS platforms.

In Short

• Produce high-quality visual designs that balance stakeholder needs and usability.
• Facilitate UX/design workshops with clients.
• Communicate user-centered methods to non-designers.
• Deliver design presentations throughout the design life cycle.
• Collaborate with other designers to refine design systems.
• Provide constructive feedback to partners and peers.
• Work with QA, project managers, and developers to find solutions.
• Develop UX deliverables, including analytics reports and wireframes.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of graphic design experience.
• 3-5 years of experience designing for the web.
• 1-2 years of experience with UX.
• Expertise in Adobe XD, Figma, or Photoshop.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong command of color theory and typography.
• Knowledge of web design fundamentals and best practices.
• Strong foundation in usability and accessibility of UI design.
• Proven ability to take projects from concept to launch.
