Overview

GEICO is looking to hire an Associate Counsel to defend lawsuits filed in Georgia courts and other first party insurance defense.

In Short

• Defend lawsuits in Georgia courts.
• Research laws and prepare legal briefs and opinions.
• Render opinions on liability, damages, and value.
• Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Defend matters assigned in trials or hearings.
• 2-6+ years of litigation experience required.
• Juris Doctor degree and Georgia Bar admission required.
• Must be able to travel as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary.
