Senior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

GovCIO is currently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering impactful features. This position is fully remote and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS).

In Short

• Responsible for coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.
• Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying and supporting systems.
• Analyzes business and technical processes to develop new and modified information processing systems.
• Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure IT designs meet needs.
• Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures.
• Collaborates with business partners to determine project scope and vision.
• Prioritizes collected requirements with stakeholders and project team.
• Creates process models and specifications for guiding project activities.
• Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities.
• Translates customer requirements into functional requirements for developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in gathering requirements and writing documentation.
• Extensive experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite.
• Experience managing a team of Business Analysts and Technical Writers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
