Field SIU Specialist - Anti-Fraud Investigator - Remote

Overview

As a Field SIU Specialist, you will be a subject matter expert on anti-fraud for Gore Mutual, conducting on-site investigations of claims and gathering evidence.

• Investigate potential fraud in claims.
• Conduct on-site investigations and obtain statements.
• Review documents for inconsistencies.
• Compose reports and recommendations for claims disposition.
• Educate staff and clients on fraud awareness.
• Assist in designing fraud training for claims handlers.
• Attend examinations under oath and oversee litigation claims.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Stay updated on insurance fraud trends.

Requirements

• 10+ years of investigative insurance experience.
• 5+ years of training/mentorship experience.
• Experience with claims (Guidewire is an asset).
• Experience in Property, Auto, Accident Benefit & Casualty claims.
• CIP, CFEI, or CFE designations completed or in progress.
• Post-secondary school completion is required.
• Familiarity with anti-fraud technology.
