GoodLeap is a technology company delivering best-in-class financing and software products for sustainable solutions. The Software Engineering Intern will support the engineering team in building event-driven backend services over a 12-week internship period.

In Short

• Intern will contribute to the development of a microservice that processes real-time Kafka events.
• Work with internal APIs to support business-critical workflows.
• Build and test backend microservices using Node.js or Python.
• Implement error handling, logging, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js or Python preferred).
• Interest in event-driven systems and distributed architectures.
• Exposure to APIs, JSON, and RESTful design concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
