Product Manager, Virtual Power Plant - Remote

Overview

GoodLeap is seeking a mission-driven Product Manager to lead the automation of critical operational workflows tied to our Virtual Power Plant platform, enhancing efficiency and reporting accuracy.

In Short

• Drive the roadmap for VPP operational automation and capabilities.
• Automate workflows related to enrollments, dispatch planning, and reporting.
• Coordinate day-of operations for VPP events across ISO/RTO markets.
• Monitor real-time performance and escalate operational issues.
• Build tooling for efficient event operations at scale.
• Track and improve key KPIs like dispatch success and reporting efficiency.
• 3–5 years of product management experience in energy or SaaS.
• Technical understanding of distributed energy systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Degree in engineering, energy systems, or relevant experience.

Requirements

• Experience with VPP operations and DER technologies.
• Familiarity with energy markets and compliance standards.
• Strong systems thinker and workflow optimizer.
• Hands-on experience in building SOPs and internal tools.
• Working knowledge of ISO/RTO rules and participation models.
