Brazilian Tax Expert - Remote

Overview

GoGlobal is seeking an experienced Brazilian Tax Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in direct and indirect taxes, a Brazilian CPA (CRC is highly valued and a strong plus), and a proven track record of delivering tax services. This role will involve providing tax compliance to our clients and internal company, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements while optimizing tax efficiency and compliance.

In Short

• Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of tax compliance reports for direct taxes (IRPJ, CSLL) and indirect taxes (ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS).
• Provide expert guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategies to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to Brazilian tax laws.
• Stay up to date with changes in Brazilian tax legislation and regulations, proactively informing clients and internal teams of potential impacts.
• Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients and internal company for audits, inquiries, or disputes.
• Perform periodic reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting for all tax-related transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support broader financial compliance and advisory projects.
• Deliver excellent client service by addressing inquiries, providing actionable insights, and building strong relationships.
