Tax Expert (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

In Short

• Contact person for internal and external tax issues
• Involvement in special topics (Transfer Pricing, tax processing of new customers, changed business processes)
• Timely submission of VAT advance returns and summary Intrastat reports
• Support for the controlling and accounting teams as well as other departments to ensure the correct execution of tax and general accounting topics
• Preparation of annual declarations for trade tax, VAT, and corporate tax
• Support in optimizing financial processes and workflows
• Close collaboration with our tax advisor team

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience as a tax clerk/accountant with tax experience of at least 5 years
• Good knowledge of the accounting principles of HGB and German/European tax law (VAT law is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO and MS Office
• Very good language skills in English and German
• Enjoy working in an international team
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance
• Very structured working style and a high affinity for numbers
• High degree of flexibility, empathy, resilience, and assertiveness
