Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an English-fluent Data Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

In Short

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows within Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement and maintain medallion architecture for scalable data products.
• Develop and manage data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured sources.
• Support the creation of reporting-ready data models.
• Ensure robust data quality and transformation standards.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect on architectural decisions.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Document pipelines and design decisions for maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with Azure.
• Experience implementing medallion architecture at scale.
• Expertise in building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark.
• Experience with data modeling for analytics and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in a team-based delivery model.
