The Staff Product Manager for Occupant Protection will design and implement safety experiences to ensure occupants feel secure and confident in GM vehicles, aligning with the company's goals and driving innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product manager on technology-powered digital products.
• 3+ years managing products focused on occupant protection/safety.
• Expertise in creating customer experiences using data.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to balance trade-offs between consumer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced educational background preferred (MBA, Engineering, Computer Science).
• Experience leading digital products across various platforms.
• 8+ years of vehicle product management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) is advantageous.
