Vice President, Enterprise Transformation & Finance Strategy - Remote

Overview

GitLab is seeking a VP of Enterprise Transformation & Finance Strategy to architect and lead the strategic evolution of our Finance function while serving as a key driver of enterprise-wide business transformation as we scale as a public company.

In Short

• Serve as the CFO's key partner on cross-functional initiatives.
• Co-lead program architecture and executive alignment.
• Partner with CRO and CIO on Lead-to-Cash optimization.
• Own the transition to a consumption-based business model.
• Drive global expansion strategy and compliance.
• Develop a comprehensive Finance transformation strategy.
• Lead redesign of core finance processes.
• Own the finance technology roadmap.
• Champion AI and automation integration.
• Build and lead the Finance Transformation Office.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in strategic finance and transformation.
• Proven track record in enterprise-wide transformation programs.
• Deep expertise in Lead-to-Cash processes.
• Experience with consumption-based business model transitions.
• Strong understanding of public company financial reporting.
• Ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Experience in a remote-first environment.
• Exceptional program management capabilities.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills.
