• Lead strategy and development of AI features in editor extensions across multiple IDE platforms
• Prioritize high-impact features and monitor usage metrics to guide investment decisions

• Stay current on competitive landscape for AI coding assistants and identify opportunities to innovate

Requirements

• Experience in product management with knowledge of AI coding assistants, models, and context management
• Strong technical understanding of software development and the SDLC
• General developer tooling experience with passion for design and usability
• Highly independent approach with excellent communication skills at all levels
• Comfort with all-remote work and alignment with GitLab's values
• Data-driven decision making with strong bias for action
• Experience with IDE/editor tooling is a plus (JetBrains, VS Code, Visual Studio, Eclipse)
• Background as a software engineer is a plus
• Experience in enterprise organizations and B2B customer engagement is beneficial
