Overview

Gigamon seeks a motivated individual to fill the position of Sr Regional Sales Director (an Account Executive role) to cover the German Enterprise Market. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and capturing sales opportunities while managing the full sales lifecycle.

In Short

  • Responsible for sales within an assigned territory and group of named accounts.
  • Maintains a database of customers and enters interactions in SalesForce.
  • Develops effective sales calls using available resources.
  • Sells new and existing products, discovering new opportunities.
  • Communicates potential opportunities with Regional and Product Managers.
  • Performs effective sales calls and closes new business opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows and meetings as required.
  • Provides timely communication and follow-up to customers.
  • Researches and analyzes territories and markets.
  • Collaborates with Product Managers on strategies for product expansion.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct selling experience in Networking or Network Security.
  • Experience with SalesForce and disciplined around forecasting.
  • Knowledge of the German Channel partner landscape.
  • Technical understanding of Networking and security landscape is a plus.
  • Excellent consultative, solution selling skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Inspiring leadership skills.
  • Passion and high energy level.
  • Track record of relationships with local major Service Providers.
  • Team player.
