Overview

The successful Software Engineer - System Test Automation Lead will lead the design and deployment of test strategy across the Embedded Platform Infrastructure domain, partnering closely with Software Quality to leverage common test framework, tools, and libraries.

• Lead small engineering teams in developing test solutions for SDV Infrastructure software.
• Collaborate with Software Quality, Requirements, and Systems Engineering teams.
• Implement best practices in developing test scripts and environments.
• Analyze and design test solutions for various domains such as Ethernet, CAN, and Diagnostics.
• Mentor scripting teams on best practices.
• Participate in workflow modifications with multiple business teams.
• Work in an agile team using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodology.
• Travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Automotive embedded software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Automotive embedded software development.
• Proficiency in Python (version 3 and higher) and C programming.
• Knowledge of AutoSAR Standards and vehicle ECU design.
• Experience with tools like AutoBot, Robot Framework, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good business sense.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-change environment.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time domestically.
