Overview

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and execution of new programs, including design, construction, integration, and continuous improvement of equipment and tools used in manufacturing high-quality parts.

In Short

Implement and execute new programs including SOR prep and controls design.
Manage deliveries to program timing milestones with multiple suppliers.
Provide project report outs to senior management.
Support existing programs and troubleshoot issues.
Communicate effectively with customers and plants.
Provide technical direction to less experienced engineers.
Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
Participate in tooling and process design meetings.
Assess and approve controls drawings.
Conduct controls run-offs at equipment supplier sites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Five years of experience as a Controls Engineer or related role.
Experience with mechanical concepts and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming.
Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems.
Four years of experience with servo motors and motion control.
