Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will manage quality systems and processes to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards while building relationships with customers and suppliers.

• Manage quality systems following GMS Built-in-Quality standards.
• Hold manufacturing teams accountable for quality processes.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Lead launch and pilot activities in assigned areas.
• Support GMS processes across multiple departments.

• Motivate and develop employees using standardized methods.
• Achieve operation quality requirements of IPPM and PPM.
• Demonstrate innovative thinking to build new quality processes.
• Communicate department quality goals effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a quality environment.
• Experience in stamping and manufacturing environments.
• FMEA and PCP experience preferred.
• High-level problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime and off shifts as required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
