Overview

The Motorsports Test and Development Engineer will leverage their motorsports knowledge to optimize performance across key mechanical and electrical race vehicle systems while collaborating with internal engineering teams and external race partners.

In Short

  • Full-time onsite role based in Concord, NC.
  • Collaborate with GM engineering teams and race partners.
  • Support testing and development of high-performance vehicle systems.
  • Contribute to the design and troubleshooting of GM test fixtures.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • 1+ years of motorsports-related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills required.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
  • Preferred experience with systems engineering in motorsports.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and vehicle dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Controls Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year of motorsports-related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience generating reports and presentations.
  • Proven team player with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Experience with engineering tools and programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience in optimizing performance.
  • Ability to provide actionable recommendations based on analysis.
