Overview

The Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of high voltage, lithium-ion battery components, ensuring compatibility and quality while collaborating with various teams.

In Short

  • Design and package battery components.
  • Oversee design compatibility internally and externally.

  • Support serviceability and sourcing of components.

  • Track validation status and resolve issues.

  • Engage in up to 20% travel.
  • Work in a hybrid model with 3 days in-office.
  • 5 years of experience required in a related role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficient in CAD and technical writing.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Experience with structural and thermal analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage suppliers and OEMs.
  • Familiarity with Unigraphics NX.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience in product or design engineering roles.
