Associate Genomic Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Associate Genomic Analyst performs an independent role in the genomic analysis of clinical DNA specimens for the purpose of diagnosing genetic disease, using manual and automated methods in a team environment, following established policies and procedures in a professional manner.

• Learn and follow approved standard operating procedures for data analysis and case management.
• Perform routine work with occasional guidance on new assignments.
• Analyze genomic data efficiently and accurately.
• Prioritize case analysis to move cases through analysis seamlessly.
• Assist in data analysis for new test development.
• Document errors and contribute to process improvement.
• Work evening and weekend hours as required.
• Meet or exceed target workload with high accuracy.
• Interact effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in medical technology, chemistry, biology, or related life science field.
• Two years of relevant work experience in molecular technology preferred.
• Master's degree and relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours.
