• Provide collection support to meet practice level A/R goals.
• Manage patient accounts that are past 60 days for timely collections.
• Contact patients to discuss outstanding balances and payment options.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborate with Office Managers to resolve billing issues.
• Generate reports on collection activities and account statuses.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding collections and patient privacy.
• Work closely with the RCM team to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in finance or business preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in dental billing or collections.
• Strong understanding of dental billing and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
