Dental Billing/Payment Poster - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payment Poster & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team at Gen4, where we focus on providing an incredible patient experience.

In Short

• Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts.
• Post payments received daily within 72 hours.
• Identify payment discrepancies and work with RCM Account Managers.
• Monitor daily reports for accuracy in bank deposits.
• Interpret and apply EOB summaries for posting payments.
• Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve posting errors.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and denied claims.
• Document payment denials in the practice management system.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental payment posting.
• Ability to post $500k+ in a month.
• Proficient in billing software and PMS systems.
• Strong knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes.
• Must be able to read and understand EOBs.
• Experience with patient and insurance refund processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
