Overview

The Medical Payment Poster is responsible for posting payments, adjustments, and rejections to patient accounts, ensuring proper posting and balancing of insurance payments in a hybrid remote work environment.

Requirements

• Two years Medical Billing and/or Medical Payment Posting experience required (FQHC setting preferred).
• High School diploma or Equivalent required.
• Training or equivalent combination of education experience.
• Medical terminology, CPT procedure codes, and ICD-10 diagnosis coding knowledge.
• Medicare, Medicaid and self-pay billing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of EHR systems required - eCW experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work confidently and efficiently in a fast-paced office.
• Great customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
