Accounting & Reconciliation Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant/Account Analyst for accurately booking and balancing our companies financial data, including accounts receivable, payable, and client invoicing. This role is to assist in the overall accounting department for the business and may include other businesses from time to time.

In Short

• Plan, manage, and execute financial data input in a timely manner.
• Collect, prepare, and organize both physical and digital documentation required for account reconciliations.
• Proactively detect errors, fraudulent activity, or other issues within accounts.
• Assess business competencies and provide accurate valuations.
• Collaborate with key personnel from various departments to gain approvals on AP transactions and to ensure accurate payments.
• Match transactions across different systems to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Present findings and recommendations in both written and verbal formats to Accounting Management.

Requirements

• Experience as an accountant.
• Previous auditing work experience.
• Familiarity with AP, AR, reconciliations, general ledger balancing.
• Experience with various accounting software.
