Overview

The Product Sales Specialist is a customer-facing role responsible for developing, managing, and growing customer accounts in North America (Canada & US) – East.

In Short

  • Support Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio.
  • Develop new opportunities and drive adoption of new products.
  • Manage sales opportunities and forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed orders and sales plans.
  • Work with customers to determine their needs and solutions.
  • Present and sell the value of products and services.
  • Influence specifications and close key deals.
  • Provide a link from customers to commercial operations and product teams.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships to support account strategy.
  • Become proficient in new products that expand the core portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, protection & control, asset management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience within Utility or Industrial marketplaces.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
