Appian Developer - Remote

Overview

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking numerous candidates to fill multiple-level Appian Developer roles on a new contract to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and their critical mission needs.

In Short

• Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivity.
• Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog grooming and retrospectives.
• Assist in documenting cloud and DevOps best practices.
• Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software.
• Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases.
• Perform unit testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated on the latest Appian features and functionalities.
• Ensure QA processes are followed and the integrity of environments is maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Appian development experience.
• Experience in Agile, Java, APIs, and Web Services.
• Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures.
• Experience owning project backlog and ensuring high quality work.
• Ability to scope Appian Projects.
• Must be able to obtain a level 5 Public Trust clearance.
