We are seeking a Software Engineer (Python) to join our Billing Team, maintaining and enhancing our Billing Engine, crucial for managing financial transactions and supporting global services.

In Short

• Develop and enhance a Django-based Billing Engine within a Kubernetes cluster.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product management and QA to define feature specifications.
• Interface with existing infrastructure using APIs and message brokers.
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery systems.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software development principles.
• Expertise in Python and experience with Django framework.
• Experience with relational databases, especially Postgres.
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and task queues (Celery).
• Proficiency in creating and consuming APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and basic DevOps principles.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
