Product Engineer II - Remote

In Short

• Design, build, and launch new features and improve the overall quality of the Garner app
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand our users and iterate on new ideas
• Protect our users’ privacy and security through secure coding and design practices
• Support the Garner app in production
• Own and evolve core member account microservices on the backend
• Work with a talented product and design team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
• Deliver across the tech stack

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on work delivering full-stack software
• Expertise in TypeScript (preferred) or modern JavaScript
• Familiarity with React, NodeJS, Docker, and a major cloud provider
• Experience with one or more database systems, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience implementing modern app analytics such as Segment and MixPanel
• Experience with email and push notification tools like Iterable and Firebase
• Experience working in a team using Agile methodologies
• A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary
• Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
