Protocol Engineer - Vice President (Chainlink) - Remote

Overview

As a Protocol Engineer at Galaxy, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing validator nodes in the blockchain ecosystem, ensuring high availability and security.

In Short

• Design and maintain blockchain validator infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure.
• Implement automation and monitoring tools.
• Research emerging trends in the web3/blockchain space.
• Debug complex distributed blockchains.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and recovery.
• Participate in on-call rotations for service reliability.
• Identify new product opportunities in blockchain.
• Ensure security and performance of blockchain systems.

Requirements

• Experience in Protocol, DevOps, or SRE Engineering.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (.Net, Go, Rust, etc.).
• Ability to script in Python, Perl, or bash.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux systems and command line tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
